Step One: Names Of The Guitar Strings |
It is pretty important for beginner guitar players to learn the names of the open strings on the guitar, especially if you want to be able to tune your guitar. The names of the open strings on the guitar, in order from the thickest to the thinnest, are E A D G B E.
Some people have trouble memorizing this so sometimes they come up with a fun little phrase to help them memorize the names of the guitar strings. Other guitar players just bite the bullet and memorize the names of the guitar strings by saying them over and over again until they have them down cold.
